About the event
Young Ecosystem Restorers is an immersive learning module designed for young people ready to engage more deeply with the natural world and their role within it.
Across a structured multi-day journey, participants explore the interconnected ecosystems of southern Thailand, from forest and mangroves to seagrass and coral reefs. Each environment becomes a living classroom, offering direct insight into how ecosystems function, why they are under pressure, and what it takes to restore and protect them.
The programme moves beyond observation into active engagement. Working alongside real conservation initiatives, students take part in practical tasks such as biodiversity monitoring, species identification, and restoration activities. They begin to understand ecological systems not as abstract concepts, but as dynamic, interdependent networks that require thoughtful stewardship.
Alongside fieldwork, the module introduces key principles of regenerative thinking, including circularity, resource use, and the design of systems that support long-term ecological health. Students are encouraged to…
