About the event
Pathfinders is for young people who are ready to be trusted. Over five demanding and rewarding days, participants step into real responsibility—planning expeditions, navigating terrain, building systems, and supporting the group through challenge. They are encouraged to think ahead, assess risk, make decisions, and experience the consequences of those choices in a safe, well-held environment.
Leadership here is practical: young people learn how to lead themselves before leading others—how to stay grounded under pressure, communicate clearly, and take responsibility for the impact they have on people and place. Alongside adventure and skill-building, there is space to reflect, ask hard questions, and explore what kind of leader they want to become and also for quiet moments—listening to the forest, noticing small creatures, and feeling the satisfaction of doing something they once thought they couldn’t.
