About the event
Our Forest School is a 4-week after-school journey designed to give children the space to explore, build real skills, and grow in confidence through hands-on experiences in nature.
Across two sessions each week, children return to the same environment, developing familiarity, friendships, and a deeper connection to the land. Through a mix of guided activities and free exploration, they learn by doing, climbing, building, navigating, creating, and working together.
Using our jungle setting, permaculture garden, caves, and natural play areas, each week introduces a new theme with associated new challenges and skills. Children might build shelters, understand how forest health connects to coral reefs, learn how to live sustainably and protect our planet, or cook food from our garden.
We support the development of confidence, resilience, communication, and independence in a natural and engaging way, using games, storytelling and play.
